Communicating Progress with SLT Webinar and Article

Firstly, we have released some extra resources this month: A webinar and an accompanying article both aimed at practitioners. They explain how you might show progress with the new EYFS on Tapestry and how you can communicate this to your SLT.

Another article published on the Tapestry website this month was from Anya, one of our Education Advisors. In this article, Anya explains how you can use your observations and reflections in conjunction with the Areas of Concern screen.

Feature Focus

You can enable an “additional information” box to use on your observations by going to Control Panel > Settings > Observations.

This box will appear underneath the “notes” section and can be used for whatever you wish. This was initially created as a space to add information that wasn’t needed in the notes section. By default, this ‘additional information field’ can’t be seen by relatives but you can manage that permission from User Permissions > Relatives > Observations.
