Hi everyone,
Just a few things to tell you about this month, so read on for more details.
Featured CPD Course: EYFS 2021 On Tapestry
This month we would like to focus one of our free courses currently on Tapestry CPD.
“The EYFS 2021 on Tapestry” course explains how we implemented the new EYFS (which became statutory in 2021) and the new non-statutory guidance documents (Development Matters and Birth to five Matters) on to Tapestry.
The course takes you through what the different flag sets are and how to use them as well as how the different monitoring screens work. This course is perfect for new users but even if you’ve been using the new EYFS on Tapestry since last year it might teach you something you didn’t know!
Tapestry was very proud to be included in Business Cloud’s Ed Tech 50 choices for 2022 among other fantastic ed-tech providers. If you’d like to view our entry on the list, you can do so here.
The Accident Tracking Screen
This month we released a new monitoring screen for accident forms.
If you don’t already know, the accident forms can be created within the Care Dairy feature. There is also an option to have Accidents only if you prefer.
This new screen gives you greater control over your accident forms on Tapestry. You can filter, view accidents forms from a certain period, and download them in bulk from this screen. The tutorial will show you how it all works.
BBC News Article
We were happy to be featured along with other online journals in a recent article by Katherine Latham for the BBC. The piece explores how early years settings are using online journals to connect with families, nurture parental engagement, and inform their provision to support children’s development.
You can read the article here.
That’s it for this month. As always, if you need to reach us you can do so by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info
