Hi Weavers,
A very Happy New Year to you all!
We are very excited for 2019; aside from all of the fantastic new features we are working on adding, we will be moving to our new offices! As the team has expanded over the last few years (in humans and in dogs) we have outgrown our current offices and we are all very much looking forward to moving into our new, larger building. We will also have more facilities in our new office, which will allow us to expand on the resources we currently offer.
Android App beta testing
Following the release of our new iOS app to beta testers, our new Android app is now also ready for testing! If you would like to sign up to be a beta tester and have access to it before it goes live to everyone, you just need to follow the instructions here. On this page we also have answers to some of the FAQs about the new Android app.
Some of the great new features we have added to the app are:
- An offline mode, so you can access Tapestry and make observations without an internet connection.
- Push notifications, so you can receive notifications through the app on a device.
- Filters for adding children to observations and on the main observations page.
- The ability to start a new observation without having to wait for the previous one to upload.
New iOS App
The beta testing for our new iOS app is already underway and we’re now full for participants for our first round of testing. If you would like to take part in our second round of testing and provide us with feedback about the new app, please get in touch with us by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info.
Register update
As well as testing for the new iOS and Android apps, we’ve also begun testing for our new Register feature! We really appreciate all the feedback we’ve already received, we are working hard to take all the feedback into account. If you would like to take part in our next round of testing or would like to be informed by email once the register is live to everyone, you can email us at customer.service@eyfs.info.

Feature Focus: User Permissions
We do strongly recommend having more than one manager set up on your Tapestry account, this article goes through all the reasons why, but most importantly if you only have one manager and they are unable to login or leave, we have to go through a verification process to help you access your account. Due to this process and the security of accounts, we can’t guarantee we will be able to help you access the account again.
