   Christian Festival celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This began on Ash Wednesday (21 Feb), which was also the beginning of Lent - 40 days of fasting until Easter Sunday on 8 April. 1 April is Palm Sunday when Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem and then on Good Friday (6 April) we remember Christ's death on the cross.
