Hi i know there has been a recent post with a comment on a change of address, but i have been trying to contact them by phone on a non urgent query fortunately, did anybody else know of a telephone number change. Were you all notified as we certainly haven't received anything. Bear in mind i have rang constantly for the last three days and it wouldn't connect or said number busy. Went on line and found another number and were told it changed 7/8 months ago and all provisions were notified, now i certainly wasn't and am a little miffed to say the least, i have also rang the supposedly old number in the last three weeks the plot thickens. Sorry little rant over.

Hi We've recently been awarded an Outstanding judgement, the report seems to be taking an age to be published! We want to shout it from the rooftops obviously but am a little concerned if we jump the gun. We have a school fayre and open day in a couple of weeks and really want to advertise the fact, anyone know what happens if we "kiss & tell" before the report is published? Thanks

hi I hope you will all share my joy After waiting (One year overdue) they arrived last week She was a truly lovely lady who put everyone at ease and the children were on first name terms with her. We got OUTSTANDING and I and my staff team are over the moon. Now it is official and everyone knows. I have to say that those who know how hard we work, including past parents have been lovely. Have other people found this though. Lots of parents just take it for granted, don't know why we are excited. My husband says I expect too much, its human nature etc. Part of me thinks I am being a bit silly to feel this way but i do feel a bit let down…

The school at which I am covering the Manager of the Nursery's maternity...got the call on Friday. Ofsted are coming tomorrow and wednesday and I am (today) 4 days into the job.....Aaaaaahhhhh!!! I thought the team were behind me but overheard someone 'sl***ing' me off today behind my (sore) back. Which hasn't helped my confidence for tomorrow. I don't even know where to start...as well as Manager I am also a member of staff, in that I am keyworker to 12 children and haven't yet done more than a couple of wows..on a couple of children and looked at their overview sheets!!! I've been too busy! What should I expect to be asked, I have read and signed ALL the polic…

Hi, I was just wondering how often you change the activities that are are out for the children? At my current setting we change everything weekly. Do you think this is the best way or do you change activities daily? Thanks

Well, it was only 6 months late - but they came last Wednesday morning. Every morning, since October last year, before I even got out of bed, I wondered whether, "today will be the day". Now I wake up and say....."they have been...." You know, the anticipation is much more stressful than the actual inspection. I can't say too much, only that it was a good result and the inspector was very nice. She was only there for 4 hours and that included the feedback. She did say that she was very pleased I had completed my SEF online and that it would have taken longer if I hadn't. We were all wandering around with big smiles on our faces for a few days. M…

At our school club AGM the head from the school always comes. Anyway, school club last inspected 5 yrs ago...eeekkk. School just been told that given that they are outstanding and have been for the last 3 inspections they will no longer be inspected unless there are complaints or results drop significantly. He then went onto say that as we are linked he thinks it is unlikely that club will be inspected either especially due to costs etc etc for OFSTED I have looked at this years school clubs OFSTEDs in our area and each time one has been done the school they are attached to has also been done at the same time? I just dont see that they will not do us because of th…
