I wanted to compile a folder with some of the documentation ready for ofsted. I was thinking of having it in sections maybe under management and leadership etc showing staff qualifications and training, staff rota and deployment etc but I'm a bit lost as what else to put in and how to keep in sections. Has anyone else done this or have any ideas???

My manager is off sick which leaves my self who has resently stepped up as a deputy manager and my other manager who is also new to her role. We have a new and inexperienced team and this will also be my first ever inspection. I want to compile a simple information sheet to prepare for ofsted for my staff and also for myself as I'm still getting used to my deputy role and being familiar with the paperwork.

Got the call early on Wednesday morning and Inspector arrived yesterday just before 9 am, Frantic, very busy experience, but I have to give credit where credit is due, she was lovely. The inspector did have an EYFS background- she seemed to have eyes in the back of her head and noticed everything, We had waited 6 years, and 5 months for the inspection, had been on tenterhooks for the last 3 1/2 years, but now can finally relax. For those of you who are morning only, please note we got our call at 9.10 am (notification) and then the actual inspector rang to speak to me at about 10.30, just to go through some basic matters. Our actual inspection only lasted un…

Two stressful things happened today - Ist Ofsted turned up... 2nd I got locked out of my forum account for forgetting my password... The first I could handle - but being locked out of my FSF account - I have had palpations and needed wine and chocolate!!! Inspection went well :1b but obviously can't say outcome- but it was a very 'good' day with the loveliest inspector I've have every had - she really understood packaways. Locked out account I may never recover

Had the phone call today, they are coming Monday!! My first inspection, been waiting for this for a long time. I have seen others post that they received an email, outlining everything the inspector would want to see but I haven't had this, does everyone get an email or does it just depend on the inspector?

Hi all I am just after advice from you lovely people. We had our long awaited for inspection (last 2009) just before half term and it went well. I have received the draft report today and I am unhappy with the way a particular part has been worded as I feel it completely misrepresents one particular aspect of our setting (obviously I cannot say exactly what at this point, needless to say though, I feel it is not a true reflection of what was seen during the inspection in this area or what was discussed) This does not affect the grading which I am not disputing but I am unhappy with how this reads in the report as it is very negative and not accurate. Has anyone cha…
