Do you mix 2 year olds and 3&4 year olds? My Ofsted is due any time, we mix them for child initiated and I am wondering if Ofsted will approve?

Dear All I don't know is this sounds familiar to anyone else - maybe it's just me. I seem to spend my life carrying around 'bags for life' from my car, to nursery and back home again full of paperwork/ documents/ guidelines to read etc and I'm really trying to cut down as I don't feel on top of things! I am hoping someone can help please as I am so bogged down with paperwork, I'm trying to throw out anything that is out of date so that I can work on what I should be looking at but I'm too scared to throw anything out! (also panicking as O due and I need to make sure I'm looking at all the latest versions of publications etc) My question then, is what can/ should go? …

My son has come home with his pre schools latest ofsted, which was sadly requiring rather a lot of improvements. I'm not surprised really as some of the issues that have been highlighted I have noticed during pick up and drop off. The staff are lovely and do seem to care well for the children but so much is being missed out and I feel so sad for them because I don't think they can improve due to current staffing. I'm keeping him there because he is happy and settled but I wish I could do something...

i all, I attended ofsted big conversation yesterday in the northwest, brilliant turnout (600+). Thought I'd put some points down, might be helpful to others. FBV: ofsted said this will be mainly assessed in: - knowledge & understanding of the world & PSED. - website (content inclusive or not, diversity & equality respected) Some e.g given: manager asked to name different groups of people? Hi. Are you a packaway setting that has achieved an outstanding Ofsted? I am trying to visit one but my lea teacher says there isn't one due to the limitations. If you achieved good but thought you may get outstanding did you feel being a packaway did put you at a disadvantage? My last inspection was last year and wé got good but the main issue was resources! Just wondered how other packaway settings feel about the pressure for childr3nschoice, freeflow, mud kitchens when our rental terms mean everything including displays have to be put away!
