How safe are our children? http://www.nspcc.org.uk/Inform/research/findings/howsafe/how-safe-2013_wda95178.html This is a really interesting piece from the NSPCC. I've put it in 'research' after Maz said its something she can give to her students.

My broad research topic is creativity but as I muddle through the literature I find it more and more that creativity is always assumed to be something good, something that we need to celebrate and encourage. The list of reasons could be endless ranging from the well-being of the individual to the up-keeping of the economy. It is good for the individual it is good for society, hooray for creativity. Rewards And Sanctions Research

Hi everyone. I'm in my final year of a BA in Primary Education and currently researching for my dissertation on rewards and sanctions. I am looking at different perceptions between teachers and pupils so I have set up an online questionnaire for primary teachers. If you can help me with your views please follow the link. I would really appreciate it!!! There are 12 questions, all multiple choice, but it will still take you about 15 minutes to complete. If you have a go, please stick with it as I will have to remove incomplete surveys and your valuable time will be wasted. Thank you. SurveyMonkey/My Survey/Rewards and Sanctions

Early Language Skills And Gcse

On a recent ECAT cluster meeting it was mentioned that there are links between good early language skills and GCSE results. I don't think we were given any official references (certainly I can't find anything in my notes). Does anyone have any information about research to back this up? I'd like to point out these links (if it's 'official'!) to the parents.
