Hi , im hoping someone can help i have a child who has been assessed as 22-36 secure in physical moving and handling, during this observation period i had 4 observations in this area 1 being a 22-36 assessed observation and the other 3 were all assessed at 30-50 I am wondering how or why it was calculated that he is secure in 22-36 and not at least emerging in 30-50months? any thoughts would be welcomed as i have mummy coming in to speak about it but i can't figure it out thank you in advance xx

On a slightly different thread, can you set Tapestry up so that parents can view their child's journal but not be able to comment on it or add an obersation? If so how do you do it?

A parent has come to me saying she needs to reset her password weekly. She has run out of password ideas. None of the other parents has reported this problem. How can I change this - I presume its a problem with the settings?

Morning , Is there a way I can print off the parents comments ? Have I missed ticking a box as the parent comments do not show if I download an individual observation. Do they only show in the full LJ download ? Can the system just sort parent comments/feedback and can they be printed ? thank you hope this makes sense .

Hello, I'm trying to upload an audio file onto Tapestry. I've tried mp3, wma, aac, all in vain Does anyone know what kind of audio file Tapestry supports? I've tried looking on the forum, but haven't found anything. Apologies, if I missed it. Cheers, Anne

I have just requested a free trial of Tapestry to show my staff before taking the plunge and subscribing. Have been tempted for a long time now, just never been brave enough to take the plunge! I have been looking at your advice and tutorials and it looks fabulous. I would like to ask which tablets people are finding best for use with Tapestry? We are a Pre-school setting and ideally I would like each key person to have their own tablet which they can use. I was recently visited by a manager from another pre-school who has just started Tapestry and loves it and she was using an iPad. Love to hear what is the easiest and best to use. Thanks for any help or advice …

Hi we are new to Tapestry, this question may have been answered already, however can anyone tell me how they manage EYP's accessing the children's next steps etc, if this is not on the app but on the browser version, Ideally this should be made easy for the practitioner to access Thanks Sharon

Tapestry user and regular FSF contributor, Finleysmaid, has written for us about her experience of using Tapestry to observe, record, share and support children's play. “You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation” Plato “Oh dear have you been messing around in the mud again?” Says a parent as I pass a rather grubby mud monster back to her. I smile “You’ll have to look on Tapestry I say with a grin” The parent nods and walks off. The Tapestry observation goes something like this ‘Alara was playing in the mud kitchen today with her friend Emily. They were making cakes from the mud and adding herbs from the garden to create…
