I am the manager of my setting BUT my observations are all set to post after manager approval. I can change it manually on each observation I do but I cannot seem to find where to switch this to immediately as a standard setting. Thanks Emmalene

At the moment Tapestry does not have a 'Newsletter' function. This is something we are looking to do in the future. In the meantime you can achieve something similar like this: Add a 'child' called 'newsletters' and attach all the parents to it. Then you can upload news, information and pictures to that 'child' and then send it to all the parents simultaneously. At the end of the year you can print out or save this 'journal' as a particular year - this would make a great example to show Ofsted of how you are keeping in touch and communicating with parents. I have added some more information to the safeguarding protocol document in the resource library. I have had clarification today from Sean Harford HMI regarding staff working on journals at home rather than in the setting as that was a question that was frequently raised by Tapestry users.
