What Does Ofsted Really Stand For?

Guest

Recommended Posts

For all those of you out there who like me are awaiting an OFSTED inspection in December - here's a bit of light relief. A friend (who is rather a word boffin) sent me this encouraging text

Officiously

Frustrating

Sententious

Tyrants

Eternally

Dithering

(I had to look up sententious in the dictionary - it means "pompously moralising")

I have been waiting for Ofsted since beginning of Nov. (hence the eternally dithering)

Any alternatives you'd like to suggest?

Carolyn

I am expecting a visit from deaded O. I phoned to remind them that I close next Thursday. A very helpful lady told me that hey had sent a letter out to me in November. That told me a lot !!!!. Lo and behold there was a message from an inspector to return his call ASAP, which I did, only to receive a B.T. answerphone message. Now what might that mean. If they don't arrive Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are unsuitable days. I would rather they did come next week but I have a feeling they might not.
