AnonyMouse_12960
Thanks. Pages 12, 13 and 14 will be useful for the SEF. Please please pretty please Ofsted do NOT update the SEF to the new format ...especially as today is my last official day of holiday! AnonyMouse_2186
I just found this for all of you who, like me, do not have time to spot the changes https://educationinspection.blog.gov.uk/2015/08/28/new-academic-year-new-start-for-education-inspection/
AnonyMouse_33773
This link point out the difference between the latest version and June's draft. It states: "these handbooks are substantially the same as those we published in draft form in June." Relevant to early years are 1. "the final version of the early years inspection handbook confirms that the current arrangements for notification of inspection for childminders remain in place." 2. "In June, the Chief Inspector promised more detail on how Ofsted will identify and recognise exceptional leaders. I have made minor amendments to the handbooks to clarify how this process will work in inspection."
AnonyMouse_19802
I just found this for all of you who, like me, do not have time to spot the changes https://educationinspection.blog.gov.uk/2015/08/28/new-academic-year-new-start-for-education-inspection/ Thanks Lucy, I too do not have either the time, energy or drive to go through yet more Ofsted revelations on how to be Outstanding!! As we all know - its a lottery, anyway they may like to fluff it up! Edited August 29, 2015 by Rafa
