AnonyMouse_3307 Posted December 15, 2018 Share Posted December 15, 2018 And a useful reminder to anyone in registered provision (but not Independent schools/maintained schools as generally they are already in the mix) - if you have any child who will be 5 by the end of this academic year (ie by 31st August 2019) then your local LA moderation manager would probably be thrilled to know. Yes - forgot to add, if they are going into reception a year after they turn 5 then they will complete EYFS and do the EYFSP with that cohort. But it is really irksome when at the last minute a setting realises a child turning 5 on their watch comes with statutory responsibilties, (despite it being clearly flagged in the statutory framework!!)
