AnonyMouse_71101 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Hi all, I was wondering if anyone uses their premises to host their Xmas party- Our guidance is 26 children on the premises at any one time- however, in the past, a party has been hosted at end of term and that can be around 32 children. Is this a complete no-no ? or is this a special one-off event and therefore not deemed a break in the rules? Not sure where to have put this query so hoping someone can help. many thanks Lisa
AnonyMouse_14268 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 We have always held one off parties with more children. But that was our choice, not sure where you stand legally! I am sure someone more helpful will come along soon and help you!
AnonyMouse_8282 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Going back a few years I just used to write to Ofsted, include a risk assessment and hold the party. Then they started writing back saying no need to tell them anymore. That said- our hall is actually massive so the floor space rules would allow us the have them all in now anyway. 1
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 is it in a session or a stand alone event? and how long will it go on for???
