AnonyMouse_92632 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Hi, if we have to ask parents to possible come in and help due to low staffing and these parents are not DBS checked, they are not allowed to count in the ratios are they?
AnonyMouse_19762 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Oh Deb - this is not really an answer - I wouldn't be encouraging parents to come in at all in the current situation - I am actively discouraging any 'outsiders' from visiting pre-school
AnonyMouse_5970 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 I have to agree Sunnyday. Desperate times and all that, but I wouldn't want to ask parents in to help.

AnonyMouse_19762 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Sadly I don't think your committee have really thought this through
AnonyMouse_14268 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 We are in the same situation with no back up and we would have to close.
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 i guess if its close or use a parent maybe a parent would be ok. You can use them in ratio and if they are not DBS checked as long as they have no unsupervised access to the children.
