A young chap who lives close to us and is around 19- found a policy where he had a tracker fitted to his car and is not allowed to drive after a certain time at night- but he found it reduced his policy by a significant chunk.... will find out details if I see him.... but also worth investigating

I don't come on here often nymore as am a SAHM and not teaching STM.... but had to reply- really feel for you... how horrid.
Have you contacted your union to talk about it, how about the chair of govenors of the school.
No one has the right to treat you like that.
I wish you luck in finding a new job... huge hugs

Will my Mummy head on and 3 x 2 year olds here.... I would remove the colouring pencils/ pens etc and only allow them to be used when supervised even if that means sat in highchairs or at the table, when using them praise for using them appropriately- I like the way you are drawing on the PAPER with your pen...

Love the hokey cokey chair- won't find out how much it is as I would love a set fro my triplet boys at home and their little brother
-
Congratulations
I would see how you get on - how tired, achey you feel- depending on how flexible your school will be.
I managed to work till 24 weeks- end of summer term- but was carrying triplets- don't know how I made it that far apart from a really supportive team....

We sent home a phonics handbook that went with the meeting..... I adapted it a a couple of years ago and sent home a simple flyer with activities related to maths and number.... not sure I have that one on the computer... pm me if interested....

Please be warned- I was given a second hand Ikea ceramic set of cups and saucers and my toddlers managed to smash them by banging them togther a few times- the two cups that broke when into very small shards and were very sharp. Nice to have out for guided play but not for independent play.

Hugs to you all.
I went through this early in my teaching career.... a very harrowing experience and it wasn't till month later that the little boy opened up.... even years....
A good book to share- 'Badgers parting gift'.... maybe not now but one to have in any setting, deals with death through animals.
Thinking of you and the family.

Hello all
Posting this for a colleague....
if anyone has any good ideas of how to develop calculation in real life experience in FS. We do adult led activities-eg cooking, specific skill teaching-1 more/less, difference etc and ad hoc stuff as are there more packed lunches or hot dinners, are there more boys or girls here today.... but what else could we do. Calculations are on the SIP so being pushed in all year groups.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thank you

PPP- hugs to you... what a horrible thing to happen..
I would join a union ASAP... they will back you from the time you join and may even give you advice over what has already happened.
Try and relax this weekend

So sweet.... hope they don't grow too big
-
I too love pens- have a lovely fine nib set of coloured pens and they also have to stay in colour order.... was always like that as a child and tins of pencils.... no time now to browse stationary shops mybe when the boys are a bit bigger.
-
Congratulations- what a sweety and a good weight.
-
When moderated last year- we were told just to record 'wow' moments... and use professional judgement for the majority of points- there is no way you can record evidence for every scale point. You are not useless.... please take the day off tomorrow and relax.
