  4. Hi Jo, The SEND statements on Tapestry are a mixture of the EYFS DM statements and additional SEND statements we came up with working alongside several special schools and with a SEND specialist. It's possible for you to download a document with all the statements in from within your Tapestry account, to do this you just need to start adding an observation and in the SEND assessment section, click on the 'Download SEND Statements' button. In the document the SEND statements are the ones in italics. I hope this helps! Emily
  5. If anyone else is interested in downloading a copy of the SEND statements, you can now do through this Tapestry! You just need to go to add an observation and in the SEND assessment section, click on the 'Download SEND statements' button. We hope you find this helpful!
  6. If you are using the SEND framework on Tapestry, it's now possible to download a file with all the statements included. To do this you just need to go into an observation, select the SEND framework and click on the 'Download SEND statements' button.
  7. Hi, I'm afraid until the new framework is released, we are unable to start the process of adding anything. However, our plan is to have the ELGs ready on Tapestry for the beginning of September. We are also waiting to see what the plans are for the Development Matters as this is currently not something that has been shared at all. Hopefully once the consultation results have been released, we will be able to have a better idea of what the plans are for the framework and can start work on getting it ready. The aim will be to have both the existing and new frameworks running side by side on Tapestry so that users can choose which framework they wish to use. I'm sorry that I'm unable to give you a definite answer, but if you have any further questions, please do let us know! Best wishes, Emily
  8. Hi Emma, Thanks for your feedback! In terms of recording accidents, this is something that is in our list of things to add already, but I will feed this back to the rest of the team that this is something you would like to see added. I can't see we've had it requested for an option where a child hasn't use the toilet but I will also feed this back to see if it's something we could add. We'll keep you updated about both! Best wishes, Emily
  9. Hi, You could use our Documents feature that we added at the end of last year to upload newsletters and share these with parents. I've linked our tutorials below which will explain how to set up and use this feature. I hope it helps! 19. Hi Kristina, Welcome to the forum! I'm afraid the Care Diary isn't currently available on the app version of Tapestry but this is something we are currently working on adding! I'm afraid it's not really possible for us to give time frames as to when new features will be released as we don't know how long they will take in the testing stage. In terms of your other requests, the ability to put newsletters and other such notices onto Tapestry is also something we are working on adding! Adding a booking and invoicing system plus other such management features is also in the pipeline for Tapestry. We will keep you updated on any progress we make with any of these features. Best wishes, Emily
  20. Hi Helen, I've replied to your other post here Best wishes, Emily
  21. Hi Helen, Can I ask why you don't want parents to see the age bands on your reports? Best wishes, Emily
  22. News in brief New Features What to do at the end of term Price changes for 2020 Hi Weavers, Welcome to the November Tapestry newsletter. For your information, we are now sending out our newsletters via email again, so if you would like our newsletters to be delivered straight to your inbox, as a staff member or manager on Tapestry, you can sign up through your account by following this tutorial. Alternatively, you can sign up through the ‘keep in the loop’ section near the bottom of the home page. Meanwhile here at Tapestry HQ, we’ve been very busy with the launch of not one, but two new features! So, without further ado, let’s have a look at them. Documents The new Documents feature on Tapestry allows you to upload Word, Excel, PDF and txt files to a dedicated and easy-to-find area within your account. These files can then be shared with other members of your staff and if you choose, with relatives as well. All files that are uploaded are scanned for viruses and once they have been, they can be sorted into folders of your creation. You could use this section to add files like consent forms, your privacy policies and health and safety documents but the types of file you upload is completely up to you, so it can be used very flexibly to suit the needs of your setting. To learn how to use Documents on your account, you can watch the videos in this playlist, or you can read the tutorials in the ‘Documents’ section of our Main Tutorials page. We hope you enjoy this new addition to Tapestry! Cherry Garden Framework We’ve been working with Cherry Garden school, an outstanding special school in London, to bring their namesake SEND assessment framework to life on Tapestry and now it’s available on all Tapestry accounts! This new framework combines Chery Garden’s years of SEND expertise with parts of the popular Routes for Learning framework to create a child-centred assessment system which allows progress to be demonstrated in a linear and lateral fashion, therefore creating a unique path for each child. It provides practitioners with key milestones you might see in a typically developing child aged 0-5 years and on Tapestry, there is a unique Cherry Garden Orchard interactive graphic which shows multimedia evidence of a child’s learning. This can also be shared with parents and relatives. If you would like to use the Cherry Garden framework within your setting, you just need to enable it on your account. This series of videos will talk you through how to do this and how you can then assess and track children’s development with it. What to do at the end of a term As we approach the end of the Autumn Term in the UK, we’ve got lots of useful resources, such as tutorials, articles and videos, which you can use to help you with the end of term process on your Tapestry account. Things you might want to cover could include writing reports and tracking children’s progress through the year so far. You can find these in our ‘What to do at the end of the term of year’ section on our Tapestry Encyclopedia. We hope that you find these helpful, if you have any additional questions, you can get in touch with us by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info. Price Increase 2020 From the 1st February 2020 we will be making a minor increase to the price of Tapestry based on inflation. This will allow us to continue working on improving Tapestry and the overall service we provide. Any invoices created before the 1st February will have the old price honoured within our normal terms of 30 days of the invoice being generated. To view our new prices, you just need to read this forum post.

  24. Hi karen43, This tutorial here will talk you through how to make reports visible to parents once you are ready for them to view the reports as finleysmaid suggests. When you set up parents on your account I would also recommend that you take a look at the User Permissions screen where you can set what parents can do and see on your account. This tutorial will explain where to find this page and how to change the permissions. I hope this helps! Best wishes, Emily
  25. Hi littlerainbows, We are actually working on it as we speak! As soon as this is available, we'll let you know. Best wishes, Emily
