  1. Hope you've washed you hands. My husband has taken upon himself to disinfect all our neighbours bins (and lids) after collection and returning them to them We do have got lot of elderly neighbours though. (and not many neighbours- it's not like he does streets full of bins )
  2. Me too! I just looked it up I've never read it.
  3. My brother made me read it years ago - he loved the book, and it always on the side in his house
  4. I haven't a clue . Every time I came with an answer, someone else answer - only knew about five though.
  5. The one I want is on backorder ........... but you sent me down a rabbit hole and I almost conserved buying an ice- cream maker! I've never heard of the place- but I could spend a few hours looking at stuff . I do appreciate your help though x My own fault really, the old one had a bit of a blip a month or so ago- but my husband had a play around and fixed it. I kept meaning to look for a new one then.
  6. Arghhhh that was the place where they cost £50 more!- and they only price match on 'available stock"
  7. They didn't have the one I wanted yesterday - off to check again now. I did find one that I needed to go about 15 miles to collect - but I told my husband that that felt wrong.
  8. Sound like me ! My daughter rented her flat out... the person wanted it unfurnished- so obviously a lot of it come here temporarily, whilst her and her partner moved to a new house. Said stuff in now stacked in my conservatory and I keep having the odd rummage through and taking stuff I did say my husband when we first had news of the lockdown that will should very quickly fill the car with all the boxes and dump them on their doorstep!
  9. Yes! I did find the one I wanted on the Kenwood website- but out of stock! Series 7 range.
  10. Yes- but I cut my nose off to spite my face as they cost more than elsewhere!
  11. A mid-range kenwood- that was what the last one was and it's been good. I am open to recommendations though. I did almost think a kitchenmaid- but I'd want to have a good play around in a shop before spending that amount. I make about 3 cakes every 2 weeks - 16kg of flour would last me a looooooooonnnnnggggg time!
  12. I'm a little gutted as my food processor died a death yesterday mid use (making coleslaw ). Not a problem I thought- I'll get a new one (it was 15-20 years old) I can't get one! All the ones I want are sold out !! I guess now I know why everyone was buying up all the flour!! NOTE.... has anyone else's font changed?......... or maybe I've pressed something.
  13. Well I had a highly motivated day yesterday - and prepped all the meals for the week. , which on one hand was good- but on the other hand I now do not have to spend time in my very busy day thinking about what to cook!
  14. Gosh that one WAS hard!
  15. You've made something out of a loo roll centre ?
  16. just linking so it's on this page.
  17. kettle with the lid up
  18. well I cracked and googled no 1- and I can't believe I didn't get it!
  19. My not going out is pure choice, and lucky to have plenty of rural walks if I wanted . I can't begin to imagine what it must be like for people in built-up /tower blocks etc.
